Some of us have over 15 years experience in marketing or advertising, while others have started more recently, but we all share a genuine passion for advertising. So that we are optimistic, ambitious and work in high spirits together.

Our greatest satisfaction stems from conceiving campaigns with results beyond expectations. Some of us like to cook, to paint or to ride a bike, while others might prefer to read, to write or to watch movies. But we all believe in things well done. And we also believe honesty and correctness must accompany us in all we do for our clients, with no exception, out of respect for ourselves and for them. Afrodita Blasius – Co-founder and Managing Partner

Afrodita Blasius is a marketing professional with a solid reputation.
She has started her professional career in advertising, by joining the team of a small agency that has rapidly become one of the main and most famous agencies in Romania, McCann-Erickson.

The 5 years spent in McCann greatly contributed to her development. Afrodita has designed and managed communication and brand development campaigns for a diversity of markets and consumer segments.
Evolving from Account Executive to Senior Group Account Director, she has had a large number of clients in her portfolio, from various business segments: FMCG (Nestlé, Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, Gillette, Reckitt Benckiser), services (Connex/Mobifon, Asirom, Banca Agricola), durables (Mobexpert, Opel, Samsung, Dufa).

The experience and knowledge gathered in the Romanian market were completed by her international experience. Afrodita has worked in advertising in Canada for two major international companies: Nestle and Coca-Cola.

The next challenge was represented by the next 5 years spent in marketing in Nestlé Romania. Her professional experience was completed by the marketing practice and knowledge, strengthening her strategic and business capabilities.

She developed and managed the Beverages business in Romania, in various market segments (retail, franchise systems and HoReCa).
She has solidly build the foundation of the most important brand of the company, Nescafe, brand that became one of the most important players in Romanian coffee business.
Curious and eager to learn, she has continuously developed her skills and knowledge, participating to marketing and business training in Romania and abroad (US, Belgium, France, England and Switzerland).

In 2004, she returned to advertising, as the co-founder of Bridge Communication, a strategic advertising agency, one of its kind in Romania. In the meantime, she became a IAA board member. She also started to teach marketing courses at the IAA School or at SNSPA in Bucharest.

George Nicolae – Co-founder and Managing Partner

George Nicolae is a senior expert in Marketing, having a sound knowledge of the Romanian market.
He received his BA in Planning and Cybernetics with the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest and his Executive MBA with ASEBUSS and the University of Washington, Seattle.

George started his career as a Software Designer for a heavy industry company. After the fall of Communism, he moved to marketing, as a Sales and Marketing Director of a privately-owned company, active in the distribution sector. In less than two years, he has built up the largest distribution network of electronic equipments in Romania, has launched new brands, turning his company from a small one into a marketing-oriented leader within its industry.

Advertising was a major step further in his career. As an Executive Director, George enabled McCann-Erickson Romania to become the dominating force of a booming industry. First, he co-ordinated the Client Services Department, having as the main responsabilty the supervision of all projects developed for his agency’s largest client, Coca-Cola. Then, he had to take over and restructure the Media Department, which has become shortly after one of the main players in the Media market. In 1997, he founded the Strategic Planning Department, probably the first of its kind within the Romanian advertising industry.

Over this period, he helped his clients better define their businesses or their marketing policies: Coca-Cola, Nestlé, General Motors, Gillette, Texaco, Unilever, General Electric, L’Oreal, GlaxoWellcome, JTI, Boots Healthcare, Interbrew, Coty, Dufa, Samsung, Durex, Connex, The Ministry of Tourism, Mobexpert, Ana Electronic, Romstal, Topway,  Overseas Distribution, Asirom, Cesarom.

Further on, for 3,5 years, George has been a consultant in Marketing and Management, Texaco Lubricants Worldwide London being one of his major clients. In 2004, he returned to advertising, as the co-founder, together with Afrodita Blasius, of Bridge Communication, a strategic advertising agency, one of its kind in Romania.
